 For who knows how long, this site has been hijacked going to some website that collects hits for pay. I haven't checked in about a year or so. When I finally did, I was hijacked when javascript was turned on. I found the evil code embedded at the end of a php script. Every php page begins with "<php? " and between the h and p were non-printing invisible characters. I believe they may be esc characters letting the evil inserted code at the bottom execute.
What's the point of hijacking? Pay? Fun? Ego?
I surely don't know. They're not my crowd.
Time to update and patch all the files again...
(hopefully, I won't wipe out the site)

I've been watching this show " A Haunting" which I believe was broadcast on the Discovery Channel. I haven't finished the series (on dvd) yet. The first few episodes were fluff. But now it's starting to get kinda creepy...

UPDATE: 6-03 - those little pesky robot posters are tireless for sure...part of the modifications are key word censorship. Yes, some words are not going to make it prime time here. It's really a shame too...I wanted this to be open and fun. I think that most stories will be able to get the point across without resorting to certain four letter words. A small pirce to pay and live with I guess...IP banning is the second defense. This gets a little tedious searching through logs looking for comment-bots (combots) posting times. If you notice something that doesn't belong please drop me a line ASAP. Thanks again, ceej
UPDATE: 5-26 -posting comments is enabled again. A few patches have been applied that may do the trick...
I've been getting postings, well link postings that have nothing to do with the stories. They basically are links to questionable sites. So until I check into preventing these "robot" postings, you must login to add a comment - I'm only asking for a name and email address - no personal information is gathered, etc. If I figure out and/or there is a way to prevent this, I'll enable anonymous posting again...

This last week or so has been quite busy. Grams stopped breathing while under psychiatric observation. Being next to a hospital was just plain good luck. The medical staffs take is a mini-stroke...me, well - I have a different opinion...
